Strategic management of the enterprise as the main tool in the hands of the modern manager

The basic principles, methods of strategic management of the enterprise as the main tool in the hands of the modern head are investigated in the work. The information on various ways, advantages of strategic management in the organizations of Ukraine and the world is analyzed and they are considered as examples. It is substantiated how to properly use the tools of strategic management to obtain the desired results. A comparative description of the financial and strategic goals of the enterprise, as well as their examples in wellknown large world-class companies. The advantages of non-financial strategic goals in the organization and management processes of the strategy are described. The scheme of general strategic management and the characteristics of modern types of strategic development and management - SWOT-analysis, balanced system of indicators, etc. are given. In addition, approaches and frameworks to strategic management are described, consisting of five stages: identification, analysis, formation, implementation, evaluation. An example of a furniture company is given for the implementation of each stage, which clearly reflects the structure of strategic management and the effectiveness of management, its styles, methods, principles, schemes and benefits. Special attention is paid to the forecasting system in the strategic management of the enterprise. It was found that strategic management has an innovative, integrative, entrepreneurial nature. Recommendations for the implementation of the principles of strategic management for their application by business leaders at different stages of development. Analyzed strategic management as the main tool of leadership and made conclusions about the effectiveness of enterprises in Ukraine and the world through strategic management in the hands of modern leaders
