Специфіка вітчизняного депозитного ринку та його альтернативи

Український депозитний ринок можна було б вважати ефективним за рівномірного обсягу попиту на депозити в усіх діючих банках за оптимального рівня процентних ставок за депозитами. Даний ринок тоді б відображав модель необмеженої конкуренції. Однак в ході дослідження, ґрунтуючись на аналізі офіційних даних НБУ, нами виявлено, що український депозитний ринок репрезентує модель монополістичної конкуренції, хоча упродовж останніх років державні банки концентрували значно більшу частку депозитів населення, аніж приватні та іноземні. Досліджуваний ринок до певної міри характеризується зниженням попиту на депозити, що пов'язано, насамперед, зі зниженням їх ціни (відсоткової ставки). Окрім цього, під впливом негативних чинників, пов’язаних з війною, поширенням інфляційних процесів та багатьох інших  зростає роль альтернативних способів збереження заощаджень, якими є ОВДП, акції, криптовалюта, придбання нерухомості тощо. З огляду на це, важливо не лише проаналізувати специфіку депозитного ринку в Україні, а й інші можливі варіанти збереження заощаджень за умов економічної нестабільності та високого ступеня ризиків
